Mediums covered

We rank games, movies, music (albums and songs), TV shows, and books. Each medium has its own consensus ranking built from critic lists.

Ranking methodology

We pull ranked lists from 7,631 lists from 1,488 publishers, weight them to correct for recency bias, and run head-to-head comparisons using a Condorcet voting method. Our methodology page has the full breakdown.

Update frequency

We update rankings as new source lists come in. Each ranking page shows its last-updated date.

Missing titles

A title needs enough source lists to generate a reliable head-to-head comparison. Niche or very recent releases may not have enough data yet.

App accounts

There are no accounts to create. Tracking state syncs to your private iCloud account so it's available across your Apple devices. Nothing leaves Apple's infrastructure. See our privacy policy for details.

Subscriptions

Premium is available as a Monthly or Yearly subscription, or as a Lifetime one-time purchase. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device. Refunds are handled by Apple's support. The full subscription terms are in our terms of use.
